Every room ready, before Lyla May arrived
Kate was in the final stages of pregnancy. Still working, still ticking off the endless list of things that need doing before a baby comes, and somehow trying to get a whole home in order at the same time.
Kitchen. Laundry. Linen. Storage. Office. Toy room. Spare room. Every single space was sorted before the baby came home. That was the goal, and what a goal it was.
Then there was the nursery, a sweet little space that needed to function at its best from day one.

We unpacked and micro-categorised every teeny item. The cupboard was sorted with coat hangers by size and baskets labelled by category. The chest of drawers and change table were set up with dividers so every tiny section had a clear purpose. The kitchen was organised with a dedicated space for all the baby items. There was even a feeding trolley, fully stocked, organised and ready to go.
Nothing thrown in. Nothing overlooked. Every corner of the home is calm, considered and completely ready for the moment it mattered most.
Kate didn't have to lift a finger. That was the whole point.
